One of the hottest trends we see right now are curtain bangs. They are all over Instagram from celebs like Jennifer Lopez to Chloe Grace Moretz and Kirsten Dunst. Reminiscent of the 70’s and beauties like Brigitte Bardot; curtain bangs are what they sound like: a soft fringe with wispy ends that are parted in the middle. Like open curtains. They are so pretty and can help elongate the face. No wonder it’s such a trend!

To get this look, start with towel dried hair. Spray a couple pumps of our C-5 Volume Liquid Mist on and around the fringe. Using a paddle brush, blow dry your fringe with diagonal strokes alternating left and right. This will smooth out the hair but still leave it with a lot of movement. When almost dry, take your medium sized round brush and roll the hair around it while lifting the brush up. This will give you the volume that the curtain bangs need. When dry, take a tiny drop of C-1 Rose Serum rub through your hands to heat the serum up and then, with your fingers, part your fringe in the middle with the sides wisping out. Finally finish off with our C-7 e.Spray to keep those pretty curtain bangs in place!
